Tensorflow 1 or Tensorflow 2?

Post by rogershen »

Hi Lazy,

Does this course cover Tensorflow 1 or Tensorflow 2?

Would you recommend learning Tensorflow 1 nowadays, or would it be better just to stick with Tensorflow 2?

Thanks

Thanks for your question!

This course covers Theano, Tensorflow 1, PyTorch, CNTK, and Keras (I think maybe MXNet as well but I forgot). Since Tensorflow 2 is the same as Keras the code you learn in this course would remain exactly the same.

The main purpose of this course isn't to learn any of these libraries per se, but to learn the concepts that we're using the libraries to implement (batch gradient descent, momentum, adam, batch norm, dropout, etc.)

My latest course Tensorflow 2.0: Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence is solely focuses on Tensorflow 2: https://deeplearningcourses.com/c/deep- ... nsorflow-2
